Wow!
Great board! My boss just turned me on to it (not very smart on his part, 'eh!)
I'm wanting to install a Speedo and a Water Pressure gauge in my rig. I'm looking for any installation tips which will benefit me in the fall when I need to winterize. I think you need to be sure these lines are clear of water, to prevent freezing and cracking of the lines. Getting to the back of the gauges will be a real hassle once installed, and I'm thinking that installing a T, or something else in the lines, could aid in bleeding them. I will be able to get within a foot or so of the gauges to gain access to the tubing. The motor end is not so much of a problem, but past experience is it can be a real job to get the tubing off the fittings once they have been on for a while. If I have to keep cutting them and reinstalling, I could run out of tubing!
Thanks for any thoughts and input on this!
