Here's a copy of the PSA about our upcoming banquet. Should be a good time.

Brainerd Walleye Alliance Fishing Banquet

The Brainerd Chapter of the Minnesota Walleye Alliance will hold its first Annual Membership Banquet on Thursday, April 18 at the Nisswa American Legion. Social hour and raffle sales begin at 6 PM with dinner at 7 PM. Keynote speakers will be Dave Csanda, Editor of In-Fisherman Magazine as well as Tim Brastrup, Brainerd Area Fisheries Supervisor.

Many great raffle prizes are available including a grand prize of 3 nights stay, two days fishing at the Wigwam Resort on Lake of the Woods. Other prizes include a Minn Kota Trolling Motor and custom boat covers from Crystal-Pierz Marine, three half day guided fishing trips from top local guides, fishing rods, fishing tackle, art prints, and many more fishing and outdoor items.

Cost of the banquet is $40 which includes a one year membership in the Minnesota Walleye Alliance, dinner and a chance at several door prizes. Tickets are available by contacting any Brainerd Walleye Alliance Board Members including chapter president Chad Grover, at 820-6232. The Minnesota Walleye Alliance is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to improve walleye fishing opportunities throughout the Brainerd Lakes area and all of Minnesota. Funds raised support projects such as walleye rearing pond leases through the DNR, rearing pond reclamation, education and support of selective harvest and catch and release practices, joint efforts with area lake associations and more. Members become part of a united voice of walleye anglers across the state.
