any of you guys use this for your GPS? i was thinking about getting it when I get my GPS, and wondering which one to get. i guess the topography and fishing hot spots looked good. any suggestions there?

I bought the US Topo CD because none of the waters I fish are on the Fishing Hotspots CDs yet. There are no underwater contours on the US Topo maps but a few of the lakes have some elevations below high water level. I'll pick up the Hotspots CD when they add waters I fish to them. The Garmin units are great.

Map Source is a great tool to manage your waypoints. HOWEVER,
IMHO the maps are worthless for fishing.
I purchased the United States topo from MapSource.

And, IMHO, I'd have to disagree.

Any map is only as good at the source data provided. We've been pretty good at it for nearly 30 years. There isn't another product on the planet that offers as many inland freshwater lakes with contours, structure, facilities and fishing information. Frankly, I'm surprised by the comments.

Mike Michalak I would like to clarify that I purchased the Mapsource-Topo-Version 3.00.
This is the product that I stated was worthless for fishing.
The waypoint management is great.
The topographic detail is not what you would typicaly find on a USGS 7.5 Min.Quad.Map.
I see no referance to any other company besides Garmin on this product. I would be happy to explain myself further with a phone call.
Again this is just my opinion.
