Just curios as if anyone has used any of the Bionic Blades out of Bass Pro.
I used and they seem to be pretty sensitive.

Guide
i bought one several years ago and got 1 trip out of it, i took it to the river for some jig fishing and the first thing i noticed was the casting distance or lack of it, the rod just didn,t cast well and the distance sucked but i was about to learn that was the least of my worries, bringing my jig in i got snagged so i gave it a good twitch and ended up breaking off an 8 inch peice of the tip, oh well so much for that rod, i sent it back to BPS and instead of getting another one i figured i would try an american made Falcon rod, the falcon rod was an all around better built rod but it was just to heavy what a heavy rod, i still have it but barely use it at all it stays in the garage and if i don,t have any other rods on hand and want to sneak in an hour or so of fishing i will drag it along, thats my rod story and i,m sticking to it.

Some more rods in that price range from BPS are the P&K Walleye angler rods. My best rods are the BPS HM 85. The P&K rods I own are excellent rods.

I have a couple of Bionic Blades, they are a good sensitive rod for the money, but I have had several experiences with BPS that made me shy away from them. Last year I broke off the tip of a 1 year old Pro-Qualifier rod while chasing smallies on Castle Rock Lake. When I called BPS, they said that the warranty was only good for a year, and they refused to replace the rod. The Pro-Qualifier was their top of the line rod at the time, and I think it should have been replaced. One time before, I ordered a Pfleuger combination from them and when it was delivered, they had substituted the cheaper Summit rod for the Supreme that I had ordered. I called them on it and was told that they were out of the Supreme rod, and wouldn't be getting any more in as they were discontinued. I agreed to take a Pro-Qualifier then, and when it arrived, it was so heavy that the only thing it was good for was flipping and pitching. I don't use it much yet, as I have pretty much given up on bass fishing.

There is a guy in Iowa who sells new bionic blades for roughly $45.00. At that price, I don't think there is another rod on the market which is a better value.
Just my opinion.
