What are you guys using for a scale in tournament fishing. We fished our last tournament and our scale died on us. We missed second place by 1.5 ounces and may have got second if we could have acurately culled our weights. We were using a berkley scale that came with the tags and could keep weights memorized but not any more.
Cheers!!

I have 2 rapala scales and extra batteries in the boat at all times. They are dead on accurate but we do keep an extra scale and batteries just becasue without a scale you are SOL.... The next tourney we are going to use the clip on balls to keep the fish more organized. :)
A brass spring scale made for industrial photo labs.
And a balance beam. The balance beam makes the critical decisions. No batteries for either one.

x2 on the culling beam. My partner and I use one in crappie tournaments.
