i live up in northern ny in the adorandacks. i have been fishing two pitcular lakes. and catching as many as eight every time i go. but out of the eight i am catching fish not legAL size. the lagal size limit is 15" one lake i s fish i am using a white mr. twister with white jig head and casting or drifting with the jig along weed beds in the lake in anywhere from 8` to 15` of water. also i can catch a few drifting with same jig in 20` to 25 ` of water on occasions. this lake has lots of structure and walleyes any suggestions on this.

the other body of water is a small resivoir i can catch them on a worm harness and a banna jig chartuse and silver or golds spinner same thing i catch four or five and maybe one is a kepper 15". i usually drift with the wind around this small island and a under a bridge in about 10` to 20` but when there is no wind i cant catch a walleye. i tried bowmount trolling but no luck. this lack has a lot of structure on bottom all over the body of water.

any help or suggestions would be helpfull as this is my second year fishing for this i have no kicker motor i have a 17` polar kraft with fitfty hp johson motor. fifty- five pound thurst minkota bowmunt trolling motor. and a trolling motor 30 pound thrust attached to transom for back trolling.

Dennis Fosters article is a good place to start. I also live upstate and the walleyes are still sluggish. My brother and myself have thrown everything at em and they've
started to pick up. I can't say I'm any expert by any means but, don't give up and try different unconventional things.
Good Luck,
