Lake Vermilion

Thinking of booking a place on Vermilion over the 4th and I'm hoping someone can tell me if the fishing is any good there. I normally go to Rainy lake but thought I'd try Vermilion this year... That is if I get a few decent reports on the fishing there.

From what I hear It's the best walleye lake in Northeast Minnesota! Im gonna give it a try next weekend! Good luck!!!

Walleye fisher, its been about 4years, but fished Vermillion on the Cook end of the lake, good eyes, good small mouth fishing as well., Now the lake has come on strong with muskies as well. Give it a try, lots of good resorts with a wide range of facilities / prices.
