OK Folks! I've talk to a few people out there about underwater camera's. It seems a lot of people like the
OVS system and have the thumbs up for the most part. Now are these cameras necessary or not. Any suggestions welcomed.

real valuable as another tool. i use aqua view and have been since day one.this past winter i was able to watch a 30 inch walleye wandering around below my ice shack. wouldnt hit! after an hour of following this fish with camera i settled down and secured the camera on one of my shiners. i was able to see this fish when it hit. hauled it in and released it. what a thrill. in the summer its great for search for bottoms etc.. now the temp tech and directional compass on aqua view will add to the use. i wish i had a recorder on when the 30 incher hit it was awesome.. crash

Ice fishing, can't beat the info they produce. Summer also. But forget about back trolling/fishing and running your camera at the same time--you'll see all the fish you didn't catch while messing with the camera.

I use my camera to locate fish on structure and to which side the structure theyre on then get to business trying to catch em you know there down there why dont they bite, the camera will help you find fish but it will not catch them for you [ovs 300]
