Which is the better underwater camera? I bought a Fish TV from BPS....what a joke that is. I'm talking in open water only. Don't ice fish. Thanks

I had a aqua view.... Being a walleye fisherman I thought it was the most usless pieces of fishing equip I have ever owned....At least for the bodies of water that I fish. I just sold it for 120 dollars....... But I never had any issues with mine and as far as quality-performance as much as I could tell the aqua view was great

i have an old aquavue that works decent and have 2 marcum vs 825c's. they are really pretty cool cameras. the color is amazing in clear water. i mainly use them ice fishing but at times will throw them over the side of the boat if marking fish and want to see what they are...carp, catfish, bass or hopefully WALLEYES. i would part with one of the marcums if interested. i just find you cant use them all of the time in open water cuz you gotta watch where you are going while fishing but are handy to identify fish and structure.

I think that the first generation and entry level cameras have discourged alot of anglers from using cameras in open water. I currently run a VS820 and it is alot more open water freindly than the old 4' tube's I see the price on the Aqua Vu MAV's Click here (http://www.crosslakesales.com/Items/Item.aspx?itemid=2301643&caSKU=aquavu%20mav%2010%22&caTitle=AQUA%20VU%20MAV%2010%20FISHING%20FISH%20UN DERWATER%20CAMERA%20VIDEO%20NEW) have dropped to the point where I might be picking one up. anybody have expierience running one?

I don't have a MAV on my boat but have seen them in use and they are awesome. I've also been to some of Doc Sampson's seminars which he put together with footage he shot from a MAV, very nice video. We have them for $50 less, you can see them by CLICKING HERE (http://www.profishingsupply.com/cameras/aqua-vu_mav.htm) if you want.
I ice fish a lot and usually use Marcum cameras for that. I've used Aqua-Vus too but they were older generations than the Marcums so not a fair comparison.
I've also used the cheapest $100 - $150 cameras --- let's just say you get what you pay for .......
