Going to Boysen next week, just want to know if anyone has fished it in the last week or so, and how they did, and any pointers would be appreciated.

You can catch them just about anyway you can dream up. The majority of the biting fish are in cottonwood. If you want a fun bite throw some crankbaits in the shallow water less that 6 feet. The fish are hitting the crank like a muskie. Crawlers over the weeds was the winning pattern at the WWC last week. We got them pulling cranks, pitching cranks, pulling spinners, and jigging. Check the south end if the mud is clearing the bite should be getting busy down there.

Was there June 29 and 30th. We pulled spinners in the back of cottonwood and got three over 8 pounds. Other then that plenty of action with lots of 17" to 24" fish.

Is there a good bite there in early fall? Like mid September?
