if i use the software from lakemaps [realbottom]do i need to buy the cd rom from garmin to download weighpoints from my pc to the gps12 or the lowrance x15/mt or is all that is needed is the pc interface cable for each}>

LakeMaster has given anglers the ability to upload and download waypoints to and from Lake Master. Dependent upon the type of GPS receiver you have, LakeMaster has or can create an interface which gives you the ability to load Waypoints between your GPS receiver and your LakeMaster waypoint archive. This process allows fisherman to select a particular latitude/longitude on their favorite lake and transfer that exact location to their GPS for accurate on-water fishing spot recognition.

Just get the cable the Lake Master CD already has the program for transfering information.
