I have heard good and bad about glassing in transducers. If you were to glass them in would you have to purchase a different ducer? I am running a lc15mt on the dash and a pinpoint 7520 on the bow with a 7520 in the rear for trolling. So I have two transducers glassed in the rear of the boat! I pulled off the access panel and looked in. It looks like one puck round type and then one regular transom mount glassed in. Will this work? How much interference will I get? If I did go with the transom mount how would I mount them? This is on a 620. I have yet to get the boat out today 30 and snow!
Thanks

AS far as the kind of transducers - to glass in - it is irrelevent.
It takes less epoxy if you glass in a smaller transducer - but other than that - any transducer that is matched to your depth finder will work fine.

If these transducers were the ones that were designed for your particular units - and are in good shape - I certainly wouldn't add any more on the transome.

Take care
