MIDWEST WALLEYE SERIES (MWS) THIRD TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED AUGUST 9, 2009 ON THE BAY OF GREEN BAY

APPLETON: The Midwest Walleye Series (MWS) will have their third tournament of the 2009 season in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Sunday August 9, 2009 and will include fishing the entire Winnebago System. There will be registration and rules meeting will be at Menominee Park, Oshkosh. Registration is 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the rules meeting at 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Teams must be off the water by 5:00 PM Saturday August 8, 2009.

Tournament hours will be 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. The entire Winnebago System is open to fishing. Each team can weigh five fish no saugers.

The top twenty five teams of the series will fish the championship tournament and attend the championship banquet. There will be no entry fee for the qualifiers. This years Championship will be October 10, 2009 fishing the entire Winnebago system.

The MWS circuit is a professional, competitive, and affordable fishing opportunity. Results are posted on our website www.fishtfm.com as well as other web sites. Also, the Midwest Outdoors Magazine covers the tournament results. A subscription to the Midwest Outdoors Magazine in included with the MWS membership.

The MWS is run by Fishermen for Fishermen.

The major sponsors for the Midwest Walleye Series are Ranger Boats, Mercury Marine, and Mills Fleet Farm.

There are still openings in this tournament. We will take entries up to the 5:00 PM Saturday August 8, 2009. However entries postmarked or taken after August 1, 2009 will be charged a processing fee.
