witch doyou guys perfer for a trolling motor .and what can i ecspect for life out of the baterie beacause alot of places in alberta that i fish dont even have campsites let alone power to charge batteries .thnx guys .KEEP YOUR LINE TITE.

24 volt rules!
I highly suggest you make the investment. You will find that your power and battery life are significantly increased. Much will depend on what type and size of motor, and how agressive your speed is. I was charging my 12 volt after 6-8 hours of use. I could get a whole weekend out of the 24 volt.

Ditto on the 24. Weekends and much longer are easy if you are using your trolling motor to just manuever or cover shoreline.

No contest. The 24v. rules. More power for much longer. Much easier on batteries plus they recharge quicker.
