I have a 3 yr old EZ loader trailer. The rear light on the trailer works for the parking lamps, but the brake and turn signal function doesn't work. I tried switching out the lamp from the other side and the parking lamp still works, but the turn and brake lights don't. Fuses check out ok on the truck.

Does this sound like a broken wire....maybe caused by the swing tongue? I've checked them all and spliced a couple that were smashed, but it's possible I missed one.

A continuity test will tell you pretty quickly which wire's broken.

does your tow vehicle have amber and red tail lights ? red brake light and amber turn signal light. I had a problem with my right brake light and it was a module in my truck.
