The bass action here in western Minnesota is really heating up. It appears that the spawn is over (finally) and that the fish are recuperated and on the bite. I have been on three different small lakes the past two days and each was going really good. One features lots of good shallow cover like pencil reeds and the flippin' and pitchin' bite is really good. The other two are what I call "deep weedline lakes" that I fish with a jig-worm set-up and the bite was very good on those two as well. Lots of fish roaming the inside weededges and some on the deeper edges as well. This is a great time to be on the water doing some bassin' !
