I've looked at scheels, bass pro shops, cabela's, Reeds, and a few others, but I'm not convinced that I've found the best deal yet on a new Minn Kota 50pd bowmount. Anybody have any suggestions as to other places to look, online or otherwise? Where did you guys buy yours at?

Thanks,
Eyez

Don't forget to check your local boat dealer or marina. If they want to, they can be very competitive. My local dealer ordered a Genesis for me and saved me $ 80 compared to the above mentioned places. The problem is when they get busy in spring most don't want to be competitive.

Wait for a while. Cabela's and other stores usually have sales after Sportshows. You can also check out sportshows. I've has some pretty good luck there.

Which model are you looking for, I believe the only bow mount with 50 pounds of thrust is the Powerdrive. Do you want the 48 or 54 inch shaft.
