In hooking up a minn kota 160 engine mount (basically two 80 pound motors) tonight I inadvertantly reversed poles on one of the two 80 pound motors working in low light. It did not work when I tested it of course but the other motor
did. When I put things right it still did not work. I switched the wires from each motor to the control unit to make sure it wasn't a bad wire. The same motor still did not work the other spun perfectly. Could I have burned this out when I reversed poles? Any thoughts? What should I try next?
