What would most of you do in a team tournament when expenses are split and contigincy money is won. I see MWC has several contingincies. Does the boat owner keep these or are all prizes and money split 50/50.

Depends.....My buddie owns the boat, paid for it and maintains it. He keeps the Ranger/Merc/Oxygenator money without any question. If he decided to share it with you that is fine but I would go in expecting him to keep it. I the two of you split boat use it may be different.
We split all expenses. We both put in for an insurance quote and NPAA so we split that.

I own the Boat and Split it all. Its the only way to do it. Other wise your partner will go BYE BYE...very soon. Happened to me once asked why he never want to do tournaments any more and he felt miffed at not getting the cash as well. He also however Pays me 200 extra for wear and tear every tournament we attend over 100 miles. Good to have a great partner.

my wife is my tournament partner, if we win she gets the money and I get the braggin rights.......LOL
