Has anyone here ever built jack stands for a boat? My ranger bottom repair needs repairing :(.
I'll be working on the area's where the boat sets on the trailer bunks.
I'm thinking about welding up a steel frame and attach a trailer tongue jack inverted to do the lifting.
Would I need six stand's, or can four do the job with keel blocking?
Any ideas on how to achieve such a task on a low budget?
