Good news for Humminbird owners - rumor was true. I have Lowrance on my boat now, but will seriously consider HB when it's time to upgrade.

Sweet I have the new Navionics chips and they stink in my opinion, and the 3 bodies of water I have fished this year are way off and doesnt show some major structures and my emails to Navionics only tell me that I do not know how to use my graphs:blahblah:.

My older chip shows structure on the same spot my new one doesnt.

So this is good news.

I agree, it's good news and a long time coming. Very nice to have more options and quality mapping.

Heads up to you HB owners, you're going to have to do a software upgrade to get the LM cards to work in your existing HB units :D :D :D

That is news many have been waiting to hear. And a very good addition for the Humm's capability's in the field.

I'm curious if the new Hummer/LakeMaster chips run on the same operating system format as the Garmin chips? Will they work in both units?
