Hey is anyone on here running a 135 opti on a 1700 Lund fisherman or comparable boat? I would like to know how well it performs!
Any input would be appreciated!

running one on an 1800 Fisherman. 45 gps on a good day....42-43 loaded and with chop. Up and on plane quickly. On a 1700 you will be in the upper 40's and likely see 50 occassionaly. Mine has been trouble free and starts instantly. This has been the best, most trouble free, motor I've owned in a long string of them.

I also run a 135 w/ a Michigan Wheel 19P Ballistic prop on an 1800 Fisherman and run mid 40's, could push 50 with a 21P but the hold shot was horrible.
I'd say you should easily approach 50 and have a great hole shot with that setup and a good SS prop.
Running a 135 opti on my Alumacraft 175 Tournament Sport. Has been a good motor to this point. ~45 mph gps at best, full gear, vengeance ss prop.
