I am curious as what I should expect to pay to have a prop reconditioned. I realize the extent of the damage would affect the cost.

We get $60.00 for small aluminum $70.00 for a large aluminum, stainless start at $145 for a satin finishand $180 for polished. Make sure you get it done by a nationally credified shop, you can go to www.nmpa.net to find one closest to you.

Propman hit it on the head I paid $70 for the last aluminum one I had done make sure the shop is certified and knows what they are doing, a bad rebuild can cause as much damage as one that is dinged up.

Here is a great place in Minnesota and the prices can't be beat by many. $99 or less for a three blade stainless polished finish or $45 or less for 3 blade aluminum. Here is a link: http://www.soderbloom.com/proprepair.html
You can send it to them and the prop is done in 3-4 days. I found out about them 6 years ago and never look to anyone else.
