Caught the tail end of a news story on TV over the weekend regarding
closure of certain lakes to boating activity unless a Homeland Security patrol boat was on duty. They mentioned Carter, Pueblo,
Granby and a 4th lake that I don't remember. Is anyone else aware of
exactly what the story is regarding this? Does this mean that these
lakes will be closed to night fishing if the patrol boats are off duty? Are these patrol boats a new operation or are they the usual
Larimer County/State Parks patrol boats?

Pueblo does close at 12am and opens at 6am. There use to be a patrol boat at the dam till late last year and now it is gone.By the way, if you do get to the ramp too late( after 12am) your car will most likely have the Denver boot on it.

Art can you be on the water just not putting in or taking out from 12-6? OR are they banning night fishing in the name of homeland security now? We do half of our Pueblo fishing after the sun goes down and this could really shut us down on Pueblo.
