I have a 2008 suzuki 9.9 ht that has a little vibration to it has any one ever tryed a transom pad ?

what is this pad you speak of? my 9.9 pro kicker vibrates at idle...rattles things. soon as kick it up just a tad it goes away. i have been just living with it but fig'd just need to adjust idle screw a scosh.

Mine does a good job of preventing scratches by the kicker clamps, not so much on damping vibration. On one of my boats, the pad adds enough thickness to the transom that the kicker clamps will not fit.
