I am going to be installing a new depth finder in my boat this spring.(LPG 2000) and am considering epoxying it to the inside of the hull. I would welcome opinions as to if anything is lost as far as performance goes. Thanks in advance.

When you get your new unit read the installation pages carefully. Don't epoxy anything until you read the specs. Your unit's manual will have the contacts you can call for technical questions. Hopefully you won't have any problems with your idea. If it were me I would look into the technical areas of the unit prior to purchase!!Do whatever you have to do to get out on the water and good luck!

You didn't indicate the type of boat. If it's aluminum, forget the idea. If it's glass, follow All directions and use the instructions for trial/error to pick the exact location for placement. Good luck.
