Does anybody know where to find a plastic ring about 5''in diameter to store long leaders on. I have seen them but can't find them now.
We use a short pc of 4" corrigated perferated PVC drainage tile. Cut it to whatever length you need. works fine cost nothing.

We use the tackle tamer. The have a little nubbie to put the loop over and the plastic is soft so you can imbed the hook to hold it.
I have 4 in a plano box read to go for spinner rigs.

I just wrap mine around a piece of pipe insulation. Put the end in the slot and wrap til ya get to the hook(s) stick them in the foam, store them in a Plano.

Ditto on th pipe insulation. Just insert the hook, wrap and secure loop end with half a toothpick or straight pin etc. and store in a pringles or tennis ball can.

I second the Tackle Buddy that Ranger uses, works great.

Another vote for pipe insulation. I use the larger diameter so as to not get coiling in the leader. Here's a tip: cut the piece of insulation all the way thru lengthwise. Then cut perpendicular 1/2 inch slits about an inch apart off this cut. Insert the knot or swivel end of the leader in these slits, wrap around the insulation and bury the hooks in the foam. Keep a piece handy in the boat for storing rigs as you switch them out during fishing. I've found a 14 inch piece to be about the right size in the boat.

I also use the larger tackle buddies. I think they help alleviate the coiling....

The 5' foam pool "worms" work great too! Wall Mart sells them in the toy/game section. Just cut the stuff into sections, use "T" pins to hold the loop ends and wrap the rigs and bury the hooks.

the swimming worms get rough after a year in the sun so the kids want new ones. the old ones work great for leaders, but I also slit them lengthwise and cut slots to hold the leader knot.
