My boat is only a year old. How do I get the carpet to look new again?

depending on how much fish stuff you have ground into the carpet but I usually hit the carwash with a power wand then vaccum the water and grime up then use a childs plastic rake to pull the grain of the carpet up then let dry overnight if i have that long between fishin trips}>
have carpet in boat and wish never had it pain in butt to clean all the time next boat will get vinyl and put throw rugs inside floor after a while comes apart after being wet
