My wife is a small in womens sizes, therefore I cannot buy her a small mens rain suit and hope that it will fit. The only gear I've been able to find in a women's size is the Cabela's Rainy River Gore-Tex.
Is anyone familiar with this product? It is pretty inexpensive. Does it have a thick shell similar to the Guidewear or is it really thin designed only for hot summer applications? Are there any other's I'm not finding that fit women? I know she would prefer bibs over pants which are not available in the Rainy River Gore-Tex.
Thanks.

Take a look at www.sierratradingpost.com and you will find lots of very high quality rain gear for the woman angler or outdoorsperson. Some good deals to be had if you look around a bit.
They have some great deals running now for guys too. Check out the Colombia Quad Jackets and bibs. Big guy sizes too.

Call Cabela's. I know (last year at least) they have Guidewear in womens sizing.
Better to have and not need than to need and not have!

I have been looking for rain gear, too. I've been to Gander Mountain and Galyan's and last week I drove down to Cabela's. I looked at rain gear for an hour and a half and left with nothing. The only thing they have right now is the Rainy River for women, and I didn't care for it at all. The men's small in the Guide Wear and Dri-Plus are a little big but I want enough room to layer the clothes underneath so those were actually OK. I think you'll just have to take her shopping that's the only way to find what she wants/likes. Good Luck and let me know if you come up with anything good. I'm still looking - and open water is coming soon.
