My company has folded, because of American Rodsmiths, We had a verbal aggreement on building the rods for RumbleFish. They did not come through on there part and then bailed at the time of the contract signing, so i lost a lot of money, because they failed to ship the rods that i payed for. My customers did not receive the rods and they wont from American Rodsmiths. My question is can i take legal action, over a verbal contract? I apologize to everyone involved with my company, but i did return all the money requested and have a maker making rods for my customers, with the expense coming out of my pocket. I ONLY BEG EVERYONE TO NEVER BUY A ROD FROM AMERICAN RODSMITHS, THEY ARE OUT OF TEXAS, SO PLEASE BEWARE AT THE SHADY DEALINGS THEY DO DOWN THERE.

I would expect that you have some sort of a receipt for the monies you paid them as what sounds like a deposit on a verbal order. I'm not an lawyer, but I would be going after that money. If the amount is sizeable, consult your lawyer to explore options. Best of luck.
