Hi
This turned out to be an interesting week - in spite of several more inches of rain, some hail, some lightening and thunder and of course some high wind, the bite stayed pretty decent throughout the week so far. We're seeing daytime walleye on the mudflats and evening walleye scattered around most any legitimate structure from 8 to 34 feet! The daytime fish are coming in from a variety of presentations including rainbows/spinners, crawlers/spinners, leech/live bait rig, leech/slip bobber and even some on the deep-running crankbaits. We haven't noticed that one single approach has necessarily out-performed another consistently, but the crawler/spinner (gold, pink) thing probably has the most momentum. Toward evening, it's all slip bobbers/leeches. Some of the better spots so far this week include Sloppy Joe's, 8-mile Flat, Boot Flat and 3-mile. The lack of visibility in the water has slowed the smallmouth effort for those who rely largely on sightfishing. Others who are willing to pound the shallow rocks blindly with tubes and flukes are being rewarded with some nice fish. The northern bite is still best floating large suckers in Wahkon and Vineland Bay, stick to 8-12 feet. Muskie action is slower than average for this time of year.

Don't forget to check out our weekly "shop special" at http://www.lundeens.com/shop.html .
Finally,
Two blondes living in Oklahoma were sitting on a bench talking. One blonde says to the other, “Which do you think is farther away… Florida or the moon?” The other blonde turns and says, “Helloooooo… can you see Florida?”
Have a great weekend,
