Thanks to all the MWC staff, volunteers, the community of Spring Valley, and also to the sponsors that helped make the Spring Valley tournament such a success. Outstanding fishery, outstanding facilites, and outstanding people. You are all to be congratulated on a professionally and well run tournament. Hats off...

Also, does anyone know when the tournament will be airing on ESPN2? Will MWC have copies of the tape for sale? Thanks again, and Mille Lac, here we come!

I'd have to second that! It was a great start to the new MWC and the people of Spring Valley really were welcoming and polite. Great to see so many volunteers of all ages helping out in not so nice weather conditions! Thanks!

Spring Valley is always a great event to fish, and I look forward to it every year! It's great to see that fishery doing so well too. What a blast it was last week...congrats to all the anglers for putting up with the conditions and bringing in so many fish!

Now, if I could just get home. I had to come up to Wisconsin after the tourney to pick up some things, and now because of the weather south of Chi town and over to Ohio, I am unable to travel yet. I wanted to be home on Monday, but here I sit instead...waiting waiting waiting...grrrrr. Even if I could get to Ohio, they have a level 3 warning in my county. That means, if I got into town they could give me a ticket for being on the roads...LOL I can't win.
I wanted to be in Detroit tomorrow, but it looks like I will be a few days late. another growl...grrrr...;-) Oh well, it's better than sitting in a ditch with that Ranger!

Thanks for all of the kind words about the "new MWC". Did you ever see so many four pound plus saugers! Juls looked very sharp in her black outer wear and what a great time we all had at Maples after the rules meeting, and thanks for that Juls and Rick.

Kaz it was nice to break bread again with you and Bev. I'm proud to have been able to fish with the MWC at Spring Valley. It is nothing but a class act from start to finish. Some of the toughest anglers around were there and it showed. I wish my schedule permited me to fish more of your tournaments, but perhaps next year. ,I'm here to say the MWC is back, Bigger and better than ever. Thanks for the great weekend and hope to see you guys soon.

I could'nt agree more Rick. The MWC and the Spring Valley Walleye Club
are both class acts. An excellent job done by the 200 volunteers. And
also to their new tourney director. He was very nervous as can be
expected. This is such a great event to start the year out with.
We could have done alot better but we'll just lick our wounds and go
to Mille Lacs. Really looking foward to the Championship on the
Mississippi river this fall. Thanks MWC,and the SVWC.
