I started to install a Trollmaster Pro 3 on my 2008 prokicker. The directions show the servo mounted on top of the intake manifold. My motor has an electric choke mounted on top of the intake manifold so the bracket and servo has to be tilted back in order to fit. But then I had to swing the vacuum fitting out of the way so now I'm going to have to redo the vacuum line.
Has anyone installed one of these on a 2005+ Prokicker with forward controls and ran into the same situation?
Also, there are these warnings not to run the servo wiring next to the motor's starter leads. It even tells you if you connect to a starting battery terminal, to insulate the trollmaster power connector from the starter connectors with plastic washers on both sides of the trollmaster connector. I don't know what difference that would make except possibly insulating the trollmaster connector from making a connection. WHY IS THIS? The power leads are not long enough to run to the fuse panel under the dash.
I've attached 2 photos of my motor and 1 photo showing installation on motor without an electric choke.
