Just curious about how all the folks that regularly post on and read Walleye Central's "general discussion" board did at Spring Valley.

Took all day Sat to figure how to set a hook. We didn't do so good but are excited by all the changes. It's going to be an exciting year. See you at Mille Lacs.

Not too good. Finished 180. We still had a lot of fun and look forward to learning more at the future MWC events. Bad fishing is still better than a good day at work!

Hiya Mike!
I'm there with ya too!! But you didn't have to do it with the shakes and chills from having the flu!!!! LOL!
"That which doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger."
I also enjoyed the time at the fellowship meeting Saturday night. Good people a good time and some good eats. Flu and all. I urge anyone interested to check out the next fellowship meeting at the next tourney.
Have fun..............R

We had a great time too. By the time we put together a pattern it was to late. We finished 171. By the way did anyone see the guy that fell out of his boat on Sat ? Good Luck and Good Fishing

Hey Joe, sorry to see you guy's didn't get it dialed in, Oh well get em at Mille Lacs. By the way I did get your map I will get it back to you next week along with many tips & tricks to find em on the Big Lake. Where are you guy's staying? I may be up there for a couple day's. I would want to get together with you guy's. If I do make it I will be staying at McQuoids.

Tell us about how the guy fell out of his boat. Was he ok?? Did they have trouble getting him out of the water with heavy clothing on?? I never heard about this incident. That must have been freezing!!!

I have a huge amount of respect for all of you regardless of where
you finished. The fact that you stepped up to plate and took a
swing is impressive to me.
Hats off to the entire group from the firsttimers to the winners

Hi Scott. Thanks for any help you can give us! Never being on Mille Lacs makes me a bit nervous to fish in a tourny. But I'm sure we will have a good time regardless of the outcome. We are staying at the Econo Lodge and will be up there starting Wed., May 15. Keep Mike or I posted if you will be there, we'd love to meet up with you for dinner.

Our problem was the other way around.Sitting I believe on Sat at 14th place I believe, and then going out Sunday only to put two in the bag for 6 pounds. The toughest part was watching Cheif and the other jiggers sticking it to em right next to ya.But we stuck to our game plan, it just didnt pan out this time.Oh well theres next year.Nosnoots and I had a ball at Spring Valley at always and made some new friends. The guy that feel out was fishing under the 178 bridge. When I turned around he was hanging on the side of the boat and his partner was pulling him in. When he got back in the boat he grabed his rods and began fishing again. His partner said that he was OK and that he barely got wet because he jumped out of the water so fast! I know the team number but I am not sure I should post because they might be embaressed.
that must have been a hard one to take well remember everyone has there day
