Minnkota Question?

Hi guys, got a 24 volt Minnkota 80# front mount hand control..... lately I noticed I need to turn the speed control to about 50 (1/2 throttle) to get it going.... wondering what may be the problem. My Batteries are always fully charged, so that isn't the cause. Maybe dirty contacts at the control? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Are you sure its not the bats? Put a volt meter to them after they show charged...should be atleast 13+ volts showing. I have had a cpl bats that would show charged but only had like 10 something volts...dead bat.
