My battery that came with my 02 150 opti finally died. It was a Exide Nautilus, XXHD-M-24, 1000 mca, 800 cca, 115 rc. I twas used for starting, livewell, 2 depth finders and accesories.

I'm looking for something simliar since this battery in my opinion lasted forever.

The stores I have access to are:

Batteries plus
Fleet Farm
Gander MTN
Cabelas
Walmart.....yuk

Suggestions????

the new sears batteries that are like optima are great, expensive but great. If I could remember to add water the cheaper batteries would be fine:boohoo:

the cabelas AGM's are good...i bought an AGM from local battery store and their AGM's are delivered/made by same company that delivers/makes cabelas. i got em to give me a 3yr warranty so what the heck. i ran it for around 20 hrs (110c, 337c, 787c, stereo, livewells, lights and power steering on kicker) end of trip had 12.1 volts, cpl hrs later when got home bounced back to 12.6....good bat in my book.

Interstate sells that same battery, the 24M-XHD, and it's bigger brother, the 27M-XHD which has a 180 RC min rating, up from the 115 you have now. If you can fit a 27 series in, or swap the tray, get the bigger one. The sizes and ratings are on page 2 of this list:

I got my 27M-XHD at Gander Mountain earlier this year, about $100.
