Reata 1850/150 opti guys - Prop question

Running a 150 opti and I need to know if you guys prop your boat into the higher RPM range.

I am turning a Turbo1 17p at 5690 WOT. Should I rework the pitch up 1 inch to hit the mid point or keep it at the high end of the RPM range? Or am I good to go and I should stop obsessing about it.

Second question - The boy wants to wakeboard more and more - Anyone turining a 4 blade to help with the playing side on this set up

Leave the turbo 17 alone your rpms are perfect. As far as 4 blade If you go with a 16 pitch 4 blade that will give you an excellent holeshot and will keep your boat on plane at alot lower speed for the wakeboarding, and will be able to take as sharp of turns as your boat will do with out blowing out.
