I've fished with Gary Cleland and had a really good time. He's lived there all his life.
He'll put you on the fish.
Just give him a call at 605-734-5487 or www.clelandguideservice.com also check out Cedar Shore Resort they have guides there.}>
Gary Allen also guides out of Chamberlain. Owns/operates a couple of motels in town as well. Phone # 800-435-5591 or e-mail gallen@midstatesd.net. Also has a website: www.sportsmansweb.com/Allens

I second the recommendation of Gary Allen and his people. They seem to be high quality outfit.

When talking Chamberlain, are you referring to Lake Sharpe? I'm going to be headed there for the first weekend in May and this advice may work for me too.
Thanks!

The Lake Francis case is below the Ft. Thompson dam towards Chamberlain above the dam is lake Sharp. Don't have a map handy but thats what I recall anyway.
Righto. Technically, Lake sharpe is everything between Big Bend dam (at ft. thompson) about 15 miles upstream from chamberlain, to Pierre. LFC is downstream of Big Bend.

I grew up in Chamberlain and fished with Mike Allen alot. Both Mike and Gary have new boats and good equipment. Either of them can show you a good fishing trip. If you can't book with either of them there are several guides out of the hillside motel that you can fish with they are all good guys and run a class act. good luck!!!!
