Lowrance Sonars

I have an oppourtunity to upgrade my sonar and would appreciate any feedback regarding a choice between two Lowrance models. An LCX 38CHD or a LCX 112C. What are the pro's versus cons and please disregard price!! Will be using mostly inland lakes including Erie and Bay de Noc! Thanks.

They are the same generation of units so performance will be very similar. The 112c obviously has a bigger screen, the 38cHD has more detailed built-in maps.
