What is the best prop for a ranger 620T with a115 optimax, i currently had a 21 pitch high five and the top end and rpms were low. I currently have a trophy 17 pitch rpms are 5200 and top end is a little better. What prop works best for this rig. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure how old that 21p High Five is but in a 4 1/4 inch gear which I believe a 115hp has Mercury they make a 20p High Five which seem to be popular. The Propman who is on this on this site will probably have some good input

Can you move your motor up another hole? To get some rpms with the 17 trophy you have or you can go with a 15 pitch 4 blade to increase your rpms by 400 or so. Another prop you could try is either the 16 pitch mercury/quicksilver or the Powertech NRS 16, both of those would also be great choices for that rig.

Isn't the 620 a 20' boat? If so isn't a 115 on a 20' glass boat horribly underpowered?

It is a tiller, and rated for a 150. The 115 is a great motor for the boat.
