I have a couple questions that have probably have been asked and asnwered. i have a lms 520 and a lcx 113 on the consel and a lcx 113 on the bow. the man i bought the boat from said they were networked together. the 2 consel units will read out rpm, speed, gas consumption, lake masterchip. the bow is hook up to the puck but doesnt show the contour lines. i even put the chip in the bow unit, still no lines. do i have to go into the menu and change something or connect more wires. any help is appreciated. john

Map data isn't shared by the network, you need two chips.

one more thing when i put the chip in the bow unit the lines didnt show up either. i said it was hookup to the puck because i was told that and also it shows my position on the lake.

If it is a Navionics chip you will need to be sure to go into the menues to Map Data...and select a region to view.

Start out by putting in the chip..look for the chip icon in the lower right corner to flash...then zoom way out to see what data packet is open..if any.

After that... go to the Map Data in the GPS menu... and select the region packet you wish..confirm with the Zoom out view...then zoom in to the area you wish to view to confirm.

If it is a compatible LakeMaster data card...it should open the packets automatically...Zoom Out...and look for the area highlighter in a box..that is the data available on that particular LM card.
