anybody fish with the Erie Dearie in canada and if so how did yu rig it.

I haven't, but some of the guys in my group that go fishing on Lake of the Woods use them with some success. Usually tipped with a nightcrawler, and over deep reefs, points, and food shelves. I would rather use a worm harness or something similar. Good luck

I've used them off and on over the years. Usually just carry one or two each trip. Like any other lures, sometimes it's what they want and sometimes not. Since they sink quickly they usually end up snagged so they tend to not be used. I left them out of the tackle box for this years trip. They were great years ago on Erie. Probably because thats all anyone seemed to be using then.

Take a couple and try them. They get deep quick!

Tese lures are meant to be cast. A 1/2 oz erie dearie will drop 1 ft. per second. Were designed for the western basin of Lake Erie for suspended eyes. Also work great for trolling. Just tie it on,put on a crawler and do it.
