burns ditch report

caught our limits today but it was a lot of sorting and we kept some small perch...did get about 8 jumbo's of our 30 perch....did best by rock pile in dunes acres....there was no action out front of ditch early on...we went to doughnut but just cruised and saw no perch also nobody was fishing there....we went east and found some smaller perch in 18-21fow.....occassionally catching a jumbo....went back to doughnut and got a few...went back to ditch and saw not one mark until i went north of the mouth wall in 18-20fow and i got a double jumbo!...didnt catch another perch out front but it was a nice way to end the day...steve

went out very early sunday with poor results...very difficult to fish the way i like as the wind was gusting just too hard to drift well and my elec would not work in the wind...got a good inside report on the holes down by dune acres by the stone pile working saturday....and that nobody did much outside of those holes that go 15-18ft south of the first sand bar....we were there at sunup and there was nothing there today....i got my fish north of the holes and first sandbar wed....wont be fishing this wed as i'm heading to potato creek for a five day camping trip with family..steve
