Can the universal sonar transducers be replaced on minnkota trolling motors?Minnkota powerdrive 74 with copilot and universal sonar.my transducer is not working properly.I live in rural mn without any major repair centers.Is this something I can change myself?

I saw mine being replaced once by the ASC......don't look hard to do.........the hardest part is to fish the wires through the Shaft..................but I remember ASC guy told me if its not replace by them, there is no Warranty even on the parts you just paid for.
