I am heading over to Erie PA to fish next weekend. I have never fished out of this location before and was wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions.

put in at walnut creek go west apx 7.5 miles toward elk creek get into 65 ft of water fish have been down around 50' deep, leadcore, riggers, deep sixes, dipseys, all work its not hot and heavy but you can scratch out a limit. spoons, reef runners, meat, all work good luck.

Got them over the last week that way at that location.
There are eyes scattered from the Ohio line to the NY line. There have been some pigs caught out in deeper water. We found lots of eater sized fish in the 50's in front of North East with a few 9 lb fish mixed in. The week of hot weather has helped turn the bite on.

Went out today-the 13th and took 12 nice eyes. A couple 6's and a 7 out of Dunkirk. East of Erie, but still scratched out a good day with wind. What else is new?
