Stratos 385XF

Hello All!! I am looking at purchasing a stratos 385xf boat with a 150 yamaha motor. I don't want to make the same mistake I made when I bought a brand new 2000 Tracker Targa 18. Therefore, I'm looking for your help in determining whether this is a quality boat. Any information would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2008 385 XF with an F-150 that I bought new, and couldn't be happier. It's gotten me through 4-5 footers that blew up on Lake Erie without a problem. The only issue that I've ever had was with the walk-thru windshield not shutting properly after the Lake Erie episode, but it was quickly re-adjusted and is fine. Genmar/Stratos hit a home run on this boat, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm doing everything that I can to keep from selling it, as I lost my job back in April, and there just isn't much out there in the printing field right now.

If you get the right deal, pull the trigger! You'll love it!

For what it's worth, I visit several fishing boat sites on a regular basis and haven't run across any derogatory post on a 385 XF.

I have an'06 386XF with a F150 Yamaha. I think the hulls are the same but the 385 layout is more fish than ski. Other than a few minor plumbing problems with the livewell system and a stuck float in the fuel water seperator on the motor it's been a great boat.
