Lowrance 5200c

Recently purchased a Lowrance 5200c gps. The problem I have with it is that when I hit rough water or a pretty good sized wave it will go off. It seemed like a electrical connection, however, I would immediately hit the power button and it would come right back on. Has anyone experienced this same problem?

I had this problem on another piece of electronics not boat related at all. but if bumped would lose power. Turned out to be a weak spring inside the fuse holder that when jarred would lose contact with the end of the fuse A little longer spring cured the problem. It's something in the power supply that is losing contact momentarily.
