Ya know, I was thinking the same thing. The rules are pretty plain language. Plenty of guys having their garage sale on the swap board. I can think of a few that have sold thousands of dollars of cranks.
an exerpt from the "Rules":
"And if you have a thousand dollars worth of stuff that you want to sell, even if each piece is less than $250.... you need to get a classified ad and help support the website.
This is for regular people selling an item or two... not a place for your garage sale."
