Okuma Convector

Was looking at the New Redesigned Okuma LC reels at FishUSA.COM.
From the specs it looks like a nice reel. New Drag, Three BB , Alum.
Spool, 5.1.1 retrive. around 73.00$ You think they have their act
together and are giving Diawa some compitition. Anyone try these yet
or is the Jury Still Out

Yes, this one just may well make it a real competition between the 2 of them.i have a couple of them that i have used for a while now, they are great. the ones for the shop havent come in yet, but soon they should. good luck and good fishin.

I agree, they are very nice reels. Also I am not sure where you are located, but Scheel's Outfitters in Sioux Falls, SD has them on sale for less than $70 right now.
