I have never seen this done. Is it possible?

2 trolling motor batteries in bow compartment. One set of wires to the bow TM socket. Another set of wires to stern trolling motor socket.

Can you wire the set-up such that 24 volts goes to the Bow trolling motor via one set of wires AND 12 volts goes to the stern trolling motor?

=================

If such is possible, where can one view a diagram of the wiring and jumpers?

TIA !!

Scroll down to "24-volt half tap wiring diagram" in the following link.

This diagram is as close to an answer as I could find. You should have (2) black leads, and (2) red leads. Place the (2) black (negative) leads on the same negative terminal of the first battery. The red lead for the rear, 12 volt TM gets hooked-up to the positive terminal of battery #1, as well as 1 end of the jumper. The other end of the jumper gets hooked-up to the negative terminal of battery #2, and the red lead for the bow mount TM goes to the positive terminal of battery #2, to provide 24 volts to the bow. Ignore the yellow bat #1 & bat #2 labels on the drawing, as far as I'm concerned they should have been reversed. Also, as the drawing shows, each red (positive) lead lead should have the correct rating circuit breaker installed.
Hope this helps, HRG

Renbe4... Thanks. Will test tomorrow. If no reply to this thread, my solution works.

Basically, I reasoned a conclusion somewhat like your diagram. The only differences in my situation:

a. I only have one 12V outlet...and I don't use it now as I have no rear 12V trolling motor.
b. I have a built-in charger which charges each battery independently with different voltages.

As I wired, no sparks. No circuit breaker re-sets. Guessing I have it right, but tomorrow will tell.

Thanks.

Yes, I have both 24 volts and 36 volts to my front T/M outlet and 36 volts and 12 volts to my rear T/M outlet.

The one thing you will loose is the ability to use both batteries in parallel for the 12 volt side. (or at least I have not figured out how to do it without the use of a large diode)

Both diagrams that are given are very good.
